About the Author

Castiel A. Steele is a Puerto Rican-American author and screenwriter, born in New Jersey and raised in Florida. Living with a Russian blue cat, Blue, Steele spends free time writing fantasy worlds that highlight LGBTQIA+ characters and diverse POVs. When not writing, Steele is reviewing films/TV shows, reading, or on another crazy adventure. A Prince of Dust and Shadows is the first installment in Castiel A. Steele's Sci-Fi/High Fantasy series, "The Baskaria Chronicles."

Castiel A. Steele is part of the LGBTQIA+ community and seeks diversity, normalizing acceptance, and equality in the world.

This author believes in the LGBTQIA+ community, reading banned books, women's rights, pro-choice, ending racism, trans rights are human rights, disability awareness, S.A. awareness, suicide prevention, climate change, and much more! This author also strongly disapproves the usages of AI—and yes, this author has been using the em dash in their work for years and refuses to stop now just because of a ridiculous notion that AI must've written it.
